As a health professions applicant, please review the required steps below which must be completed by the application deadline date.
- Take or waive the basic skills test – my.portal.bergen.edu/testing
- Click here to determine if you can waive the placement test. If you are eligible for a waiver, please email the required documents to [email protected] Failure to take or waive the placement test by the application deadline will result in a denial to the program.
- Submit all OFFICIAL *high school and college transcripts
- High School – Official transcripts can be sent through Naviance or directly from the high school guidance office email to [email protected] We will not accept transcripts directly from an applicant unless they are official and in a signed and sealed envelope. *Please note, if you graduated from high school more than 5 years ago, we do not need your high school transcript.
- College transcripts – Transcripts must be received by the application date. Please visit my.portal.bergen.edu/transfertobcc
for the College’s address and other important information.
- Prerequisite courses
- All prerequisite courses must have a grade of C or higher. All science courses must have been completed within the last 5 years.
- Specific programs require that prerequisite courses be completed at time of application and others allow prerequisites to be in progress at the time of application. Please check the website of the program of application to make sure that prerequisite requirements are met.

We strongly encourage all applicants to attend an information session. The information sessions are conducted by faculty members who can answer program specific questions.
